Dr. Woodruff founded Central Alberta Podiatry in 2019 to provide the absolute best in foot and ankle care.
Dr. Darren Woodruff DPM received degrees in Linguistics and Biology at the University of Calgary prior to his Doctorate degree at Midwestern University. Following graduation Darren completed a 3 year surgical residency at the Ohio State University Medical Center. While at OSU he completed hundreds of surgical procedures and received extensive training in wound care. During his training he completed rotations in trauma surgery, vascular surgery, internal medicine, rheumatology, endocrinology, radiology, pathology, dermatology, infectious disease, plastic surgery and emergency medicine.
Dr. Woodruff has published articles on diabetic limb salvage and osteomylitis. He is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and by the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry. He serves as a board member for the Canadian Podiatric Medical Association. He is also fluent in both Thai and Laotian.
